Long Distance Call Management
No single long distance carrier has the best rate everywhere, all the time. To get the lowest rate on every call and ensure that service providers are not reliant on only one carrier’s quality, service providers need to be able to access multiple carriers. However, this can be beyond the reach of small to medium sized providers. Many service providers simply don’t have the resources – or systems – to deal with the complexity, contract negotiation, and routing technology required to manage multiple relationships.

We do.
Our toll management services enable providers to move away from a single-carrier, single-contract environment and route calls to multiple carriers, in real-time. In addition, our centralized, integrated reporting platform enables us to record, reconstruct, and reconcile all carrier billing so our customers don’t pay any more than they should.

Hosted Solution

Many providers across the country choose us to manage their long distance traffic at significant savings. With a simple SIP or TDM connection, these providers direct their traffic to our central, hosted platform. In this arrangement, they benefit from our large-volume contracts, constant monitoring, and expert resources. With a real-time web view of their call traffic, we also provide a sense of control and cost management that gives our clients the best of both worlds: low rates, high quality, and constant visibility. All of this with no new costs and no new resources.
We offer our systems and expertise for a nominal service fee which we add to our low per minute cost with our carriers. As a cost benefit, the aggregate of these charges is well below the rates providers can achieve with a single carrier. As a service benefit, we spread this traffic over multiple carriers and enable providers to avoid the service disruptions that come when any single carrier experiences a problem or system outage. If you would like to move beyond your single carrier relationship and do what smart providers are doing all of the country, contact us now. Every minute you wait matters.

Managed Solution
While Crosstel is currently managing traffic for providers with monthly minutes between 400,000 and 40,000,000, some providers would rather manage their own network. They just need the tools to do it. Crosstel currently offers the same platform it uses to provide its hosted toll services in an onsite software suite. Our proprietary software runs on commercially available, high speed servers. The hardware and software configuration depends on your rate of traffic. Here’s how it works. We’re Server-based, not Switch-based. With the first release of our toll routing platform in 2006, we revolutionized the Least-Cost-Routing (LCR) industry by utilizing high-speed servers to analyze, route, rate, and report calls in real-time. Our platform doesn’t construct complex translation tables that need to be loaded into your switches all across the country. Instead, our servers work with your switches to receive call information, interrogate our call completion combinations – over two million of them – and pass call routing information back to your switch in fractions of a second. The benefits are clear. First, your switches don’t waste processing power performing look-ups within the switch during each call. They just switch. Second, it’s virtually impossible to load 2M call completion options in a switch. By keeping these tables in our servers, we provide more granular rating and routing options on every call, and provide an infinitely superior administrative approach.
For the system administrator, these servers perform all uploading, storage, and rate comparison logic. For IT, Finance, Billing, and Marketing, these servers also initiate, monitor, and record each call log in an integrated reporting platform that can be accessed instantly for trouble resolution, billing, or trend analysis. No ugly CDRs here – and no download times. We provide immediate point and click access to call records any way you want to see them. The result: more carriers, more granularity, more savings, and more management than other platforms can provide.
It’s Jurisdictional: Another differentiators in our platform is its ability to accurately route calls based on each calls originating and terminating point, or jurisdiction. Switches simply don’t have this capability. This erodes savings. Working with the information we get from the switch, our servers instantly analyze the originating and terminating information of each call, and place that call with the right carrier, at exactly the right rate. It’s Centrally-Managed but Geographically-Focused: Another challenge that we have erased for large and small operators alike is managing traffic that originates and terminates in different areas of the country. In other networks, different geographic service areas complicate the number of carriers,
points of network access, and routing tables. Not so with our platform. We centrally host rate tables that are specific to different switch geographies and communicate the right routing instruction to each switch through an intelligent connection. This lowers management costs as well as actual
call completion costs for each service area.
It’s Modular: Because of our server-based architecture, we have almost unlimited scalability, up and down. Small carriers can buy what they need. Large carriers can buy more. The routing servers are built and sold based on your capacity. And as you grow, we grow with you.
If you need this kind of flexibility, this kind of scalability, this kind of visibility, and this kind of savings, call us now. Every minute you wait matters.
